A couple of weeks ago the kids found some scrap wood in the garage from some of Josh's latest projects and pretended to build a house with it. ;) They were so excited about it and asked Josh if he would "play with wood" with them every day when he would get home from work. They finally decided to build a birdhouse and while they couldn't do much of the building part we decided to let them help pick out the paint color at Lowes and paint it themselves. They absolutely loved it! I'm pretty sure O would have painted it all night if we'd let him! Their paint job is so not "perfect" but yet it is SO perfect....and they are so proud. :) :) Cherishing these precious days of childhood while they are here...and photographing them so that we always can.
