One thing I remember from my childhood is baking with my mom. Baking is something that she enjoys doing and she seems to enjoy it even more when she has little hands willing to help out! Miss G is always willing to help out with the baking...probably because, in our house, if you help bake, you get to test out things like icing and cookies that are "messed up". (that we may have squished on purpose so that we could say that) ;) Needless to say...Grandmoo has passed on the love of baking to my girl.
Grace had been talking, for weeks, about baking Bepaw a cake for his birthday. We weren't planning to be in MS during that time so I was beginning to think we may have to just make him one at our house to celebrate. ;) Thankfully, though, we did end up being in MS the week of his birthday and she and Grandmoo got to spend one morning baking him a strawberry cake in the shape of a heart.
