G had her two year check up yesterday and this was the best visit to the doctor in a long time!! (for her anyway) I let her push Abby,her baby, in her new stroller and that seemed to help things a little but when the doctor said that she was "going to check her out in a minute".. G got really nervous and started to cry.
So what does her doctor do?? She checks Abby first!! It was precious. With the encouragement of her doctor, instead of crying (as much) G was comforting Abby and telling her how good she did! Dr. Myers did this with each step. Wow! :)
When the nurse came in for the shots, she came prepared with a "shot" and band aid for Abby too! So G got to give Abby a shot and help put on her band aid. Oh..and we can't forget that she came with a sucker too ;)
Everyone left happy and healthy! (and impressed!!) I am so thankful for a doctor and nurse that care so much about their patients to spend time checking baby dolls to ease the child's nerves.
