A Visit with Doctor O | 2015 December 10 on 10

Our home as been sick on and off for a few months so we've been making multiple trips to the doctor's office. Yesterday we were all feeling well and I found the kids playing Doctor together in G's room. It was a little sad and adorable all at the same time! ;) I know I could have gone in the room and captured all of the little details...but I honestly didn't want to get that involved...after being needed for everything for so long it was nice to watch them having fun from a bit of a distance. ;)

First,Doctor O comes in and tells G that he needs a "dandaid" on his leg and then asks G what is wrong with her...

"Oh! I found another shot!"

Enjoying the Rain | 10 on 10 November 2015

We always love when there is rain combined with warm weather, without the thunder and lightning, so that we can head out and enjoy the puddles that it creates! This time, we had some sweet friends in town to enjoy it with. :)

First Camping Trip with the Littles | 10 on 10 October 2015

This weekend we had planned to take the kids on their first camping trip (and our first in quite a while). We thought it was canceled due to weather but decided on a whim to go ahead and camp a night early! So while Dad and O put up the tent in our backyard and gathered firewood, I took G to the store for some camping essentials. ;) While there, she met an older lady by the hotdog buns and excitedly told her that we were going camping. ;) The kids were already talking about how tired they were as soon as the sun went down, but we kept them up a little later so that we could all enjoy sitting around the fire, looking at the stars and, of course, eating s'mores! While I don't think the adults got much sleep at all, the kids woke up and told us that they slept great! So Josh got the camp stove and cooked everyone bacon and eggs. Then, he took us all on a hike in the tiny bit of woods in our backyard.

I loved watching them have so much fun with it all. They're favorite part? The tent. Setting up the tent, reading in the tent, sleeping in the tent..walking in and out of the tent...every single thing about the tent was their favorite. :)

Busbee Family

His first "big boy" bath and lots of snuggles...life is pretty sweet for this little guy right now. :)
There is so much love in this home and it was a complete joy to capture. Thank you, Daniel and Kate, for inviting me in and trusting me with your images.
