Our Girl is FIVE!!

Today my sweet girl turns five! I'm so thankful for her. She is, without a doubt, one of the kindest people I've ever met. These pictures are from a recent pancake date I had with her. She was so excited for the opportunity to bake with me all by herself. (usually her brothers are helping too so it's not quite as peaceful.) ;) When her daddy came home he took the camera and started snapping as we worked together. I'm so thankful for this sweet memory captured. 

Jacksonville Zoo | Cherish this Day

A few weekends ago we woke up early and went to the Jacksonville Zoo for the day! It's always so much more fun when the youngest Gwinn starts enjoying the zoo more. Even though our current youngest wanted to do his own thing when he was out of the stroller...like walk in the opposite direction of everyone else...up to strangers.

He's THREE!! | April 2016 10 on 10

We love to celebrate birthdays in our home. We don't typically have big birthday parties (in fact we've only had a first birthday party for each of our older two kiddos) but we love to celebrate as a family! This year O asked for a Superman cake. I let him help me pick out the flavor and how it would be decorated (I MAY have let the easier choices sound super cool in hopes that he would choose those. It worked.) :) and then we surprised him by secretly planning the other superman decorations. G was excited to keep fun birthday secrets with us and help out where she could. Thankfully, he LOVED the party that we planned for him and everyone had a blast celebrating our O.

A Visit with Doctor O | 2015 December 10 on 10

Our home as been sick on and off for a few months so we've been making multiple trips to the doctor's office. Yesterday we were all feeling well and I found the kids playing Doctor together in G's room. It was a little sad and adorable all at the same time! ;) I know I could have gone in the room and captured all of the little details...but I honestly didn't want to get that involved...after being needed for everything for so long it was nice to watch them having fun from a bit of a distance. ;)

First,Doctor O comes in and tells G that he needs a "dandaid" on his leg and then asks G what is wrong with her...

"Oh! I found another shot!"
